RGPA set up a physiotherapy self-referral service in order to:

1. Improve access to physio for patients
2. Reduce unnecessary appointments with GPs to make these referrals
3. Reduce unnecessary MRI scan referrals

This was successful on all counts, and continues to run currently.

You can refer yourself to physiotherapy if you’re registered with a Richmond GP.
