At RGPA, we’re committed to providing convenient access to healthcare services for patients registered at GP practices in the London Borough of Richmond. Through our partnership with Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare, we offer a range of self-referral services to help you get the care you need quickly and easily.
If you’re a registered patient, you can now refer yourself directly to the relevant services without the need for a GP appointment. Simply follow the links below to access the appropriate service.
Richmond physiotherapy self referral
What is Physiotherapy self-referral?

If you have a Richmond GP, you can now access the local NHS physiotherapy service directly, without seeing your GP first. Any person above 16 years of age can refer themselves directly to a physiotherapist without seeing a GP.
They will provide specialist assessment, early advice, and treatment for people with back, neck or joint complaints; problems following injuries; muscle or tendon problems or any recent changes in a long-standing condition.
If you have recently developed any of the following please consult your GP before referring yourself to physiotherapy:
Changes in your bladder or bowel habits
Numbness or tingling around your back passage or genitals
Numbness, pins and needles, or weakness in both legs
Richmond Falls and Bone Health Service
If you’re worried about falling or need support with bone health and fracture management, you can refer yourself directly to the Falls and Bone Health Service—no GP appointment needed.
This service helps reduce falls, improve mobility, and support independence for adults in Richmond upon Thames. The service is available for: Over 65s who have fallen or feel at risk of falling, and over 50s needing bone health assessments or fracture management

Based at Kingston Hospital, the Wolverton Wolverton Centre for Sexual Health provides free and confidential sexual health services, including STI testing, contraception, and HIV care. They offer a welcoming and non-judgmental environment for all, including young people under 18.
Their Young Person’s Walk-in Clinic runs every Thursday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm for those aged 21 and under, offering tailored advice, testing, and treatment.
